In my day we just had older siblings buy alcohol for us...sheesh.

-goodly chunk of butter
-a good amount of cracked black pepper
-throw in about 3 cloves of minced garlic and some finely chopped onion
-toss in finely chopped red pepper -add a little half and half
-put in a handful of shredded fresh parmesan

pour over noodles and chow.

There is just nothing like hanging out with them.

all i want is for it to snow on my weekend. that's all.

being 26 isn't nearly as exciting as turning 25.

at least i'm still 19. i don't have to worry of such things.

and why don't I feel rested? I missed my trip to the coast, but spent time with family and friends it feels I haven't seen in ages, so that was good. I don't really look forward to the next term due to the fact that I don't have a single day off. The good news is that I get off around 2pm Monday-Friday, however, I work until six on the weekends. I long for summer and its mental freedom, as well as a solid two days off every week. oh, and that money thing. Paycheck? yeah.

my kitten that was going to have kittens has passed away. my dad called me this morning to tell me that she climbed into the rafters and that's where he found her. my poor kitty. :'(

My kitty, Shelby-girl-kitten, is pregnant. She is a handsome orange tabby (rare to have a female orange) and interestingly enough was fixed in the year of 2001. So..weird....uhm, I don't know if she will bring them to term or not, but if anyone is interested in a genuine scientific miracle kitten, let me know. There is no idea of who the sire is, but due to the looks of the neighborhood toms there will probably be some black and white kitties.

Seriously, you guys rock, thank you. If I have a time of need, you are always there for me.

...everywhere. i sure hope i can make it home before my car is snowed in to the point of no return. it is cold here at work, and i just want to be snuggled in somewhere with hot chocolate and books.

I just dissected a large sheep's heart. Can you say....awesome??!? It was amazing to look at just how much muscle amasses the organ. Most of the fatty tissue was surrounding the arteries up at the top.
I found it hard to locate the valves though, as they are small, and made of thin, but very durable matter surrounded by more stringier things. (sure, stringier *is* a scientific term)
hah. also discovering just exactly what a heart murmur is gives me a little more insight to my mild condition, and what that might look like.
yay for science.

great colossus, i am still sick after a week! my voice is a tattered shell of its former glory. i find it very hard to speak at the moment.

christmas seems to be creeping up with ridiculous speed, and i am afraid to go among the masses for fear i might be trampled. so tomorrow will be spent in pajamas, baking up some delicious cookies, which i will then destroy with icing.

in other news, i bought a completely smoking hot dress today... it is black, with polka dots. now i just need a reason/occasion to wear it.

in other other news, i saw sweeney todd tonight. gotta hand it to burton, this was a great film, well done, cleverly worded and played, and just too goddamn fun to see alan rickman do his thing. great casting, and bloody awesome. quite literally.

Well, two A's and a C-. I am none too pleased with my horrific lack of skills in math, but proud of myself nonetheless. This just calls for me stepping it up next term, and really applying myself and spending time with it. My sincere gratitude to all those who have helped me with math recently ♥ I needed it.
In other news....what the hell am I going to do with myself this weekend? I went to Portland last weekend, which was nice, but I have no money to venture out of town again this weekend. Next weekend is a wedding, so I suppose I am in the market to find a dress. Sigh. I dread shopping this time of year.

however, the final grade for biology has only been posted on the lane Moodle website, which is down for the morning. the anticipation is going to torture meeeeee.....
